I am from Canada. Taking a firearm to the states is difficult and takes time in advance. You can show up at the Canadian border and be through with hunting firearms in 15 minutes. You can also get a licence to buy firearms here fairly easily. None of this is easily done in the US .

A hunter killed a black bear here in Saskatchewan 25 years ago. The publicity got a law passed prohibiting such activities. Long before that a hunter fell into a bear den. He survived but said you could not believe how strong a 200 lb bear was.
Very true. A factory that would take years to get approved elsewhere is started in a month. A hydro dam that we would squabble over for decades begins in years. Our freedom sometimes holds us back.

Killing coyotes and fox with a snowmobile is illegal here. But people still do it and are sickeningly excited by it. I know it has been done during a family oriented snowmobile rally.

As a guide /outfitter in Canada I have also seen extremes. I don’t think the outfitter needs a tip , even if also guiding. He owns the business and should be making money.

I’m a life member . One of the first 500 , so quite a while. Have been to both Reno and Las Vegas shows but it has been a while. No chapter close in Saskatchewan.
