I’ve got my heart set on a 450 #2 . But with the scarcity of ammo and components do you think the 470 would be the better route? I would love a Birmingham boxlock in 450#2. But I see some Searcy 470s floating around that look like a lot of gun for the money.
I have to lease and also own some land I hunt. Making something inclusive that is exclusive is the fastest way to ruin it. The population in our area is growing so quickly soon there will be few places to hunt. I can’t see the open places we have left turned into a free for all hunting grounds...
I agree with Neophyte. I’m a cow calf producer in central Alabama. We have enough problems with vultures and coyotes. I’m aware grizzly bears won’t be released here . I would hate to know if I was rancher in that area that I had bears to fight also.
