I haven't been to the range yet. But if that happens to me, the cover is coming off, and that means I have to remove the scope, as the cover won't spin off as it hits the rifle. Mine is a 6.5CM, so hopefully it doesn't happen.
I have the Z6i & Z8i. Thinking about it, I have never used the i. Not even once. The scope is amazing in low light without the illumination.
I would rather save the weight. Too bad the Z8 isn't available without illumination. I know the Z5 and probably Z6 come without...
I just mounted the swar covers on my Z8i. The eye piece cover SLP-E may be problematic when you need to focus with more magnification. You can't get a full spin on the cover without it hitting the rifle, so you need to close the cover to rotate fully. and be aware, you are now using the...
I started reading the Swaro installation instructions. They are very clear on what causes stinging, and POI changes. The scope must be mounted to their specs. I'm not the expert, and I don't have a mini torque wrench either. I'm going to buy a torque wrench, and redo my mounts to...
What's your Favorite Reticle ?
I personally like the Swaro BRX so I can hold over or dial. I can hold over to 300-400 yards, then start dialing for further distance.
I have money for this hobby. What has Swaro quality glass, and a good mechanical system not prone to failure ? I'd certainly upgrade if there is something comparable to Swaro glass.
I had a bad Z8 out of the box years ago. They replaced it, and it's perfect.
Now my Z6 failed.
I'd certainly pay money for swaro glass that can hold 0.
yes, my little 6.5CM recoil destroyed a Z6. .. Actually it was the 1500 mile drive, where the scope was fully cased in a nice riding SUV Cadillac Escalade. Wasn't even bounced around too badly.
Just a complete failure cost me a sheep.
Dam.. I've been pulling my hair out with my Tikka / Z6. Was a sub MOA rifle, drew a sheep tag, and missed by 4" @ 300 yards. I've been trying to figure this out since I got home. Rifle is now inconsistent and all over paper. 2-3" groups and moving everywhere. I figured it was...
