South African hunt Spring 2026

Thank you for all those tips, I'll put them to good use
No I’m a Kiwi so will only lead you down a path of no return……(in other words slang that will get you into more trouble than out) I’m sure that the real Bok’s will chime in with better information!

Although this might get a smile Gaan kak in die mielie……go poo in the cornfield ;) I’d only use that in jest if you know there really pulling your leg

Just another Good ole boy from the Unit-ed States using a .30-ought six.

Good luck, have fun and enjoy.

Oh, and G’day from Australia

I don’t necessarily agree on the recommendation for an airline credit card, but definitely some sort of travel card. I look for a cash back card with no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees. The 3% foreign transaction fee on a lot of credit cards really adds up if someone isn’t aware of it, especially if paying part of hunt on card.
You’re correct there are other ways to skin this cat than an airline specific credit card. My airline card has no foreign fees. I’ve also used it to cover a lot of my personal travel utilizing miles, including several First and Business class international flights.

I guess I should’ve suggested planning ahead for airline travel so the OP can get some additional benefits on their trip simply by thinking about what card they swipe each day.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
