    I feel it is the taxidermist's job to make sure the hides are dried properly as I paid him for more than inspecting and crating them. At this time I will not disclose who I used as I want to give him a chance to respond.

    Brickburn, Those are my thoughts as well. I have dried many hides on my own and they all have been better than that and I am not a professional .

    This trip with Iliwa Safaris was top notch from start to finish!! This family is honest and makes the whole day very enjoyable from start to finish. I highly recommend them if you are looking for plains game and like to laugh. I will be talking about this trip for quite some time.

    Day 8 we were back after the warthog and this time we were successful on them as well as taking another impala on our last day of hunting before heading to Capetown for a few days before flying home.

    Day 4 we woke up to rain so hunting was delayed until the afternoon at which time we tried to find a springbuckk and warthog. After many failed stalks I found and successfully harvested a springbuck right before sunset.

    Day 3 we headed off of the 22,000 acre farm to look for gemsbuck. We hiked 5 miles through the mountains with no luck but did see more kudu, impala,blue wildebeest and blonde wildebeest.

    The second day started out with me harvesting a nice impala. We spent the rest of the day sightseeing and looking for warthogs. We saw a few warthogs but all were too small or sows. We did see plenty of other animals including giraffe and the black eagle.

    My calculations have me paying $250.00 each way on Emirates air from Seattle to Johannesburg to take my rifle as over. That does not include $130 I am paying for help at the airport and fee to get it to Port Elizabeth. Is this right?

    I did all bookings on my own. I have shot from sticks for years and yes I am taking my own gun.
