Hello!
I have a problem, a friend have a 35 whelen and here, Argentina, the lack of powder and bullets are very hard...
He has only W760 powder, and 210 bullets...
Doy you let me a hand? Any idea?
Obviously we take anything carefully!!!
BOB!!!! PHONEEEEE!!!! hahahaha

There should be load data on the internet if it's a suitable for combination.
If you are referring to @Bob Nelson 35Whelen regarding info I will page him. Calling Dr Bob.

Hodgdon’s website does not list any loads for the 35 Whelen with W760.
W760 has been around a long time, so maybe someone has load data in an older manual laying around?

W760 is to slow for the 35 Whelen. It may be fine with the 310s but noting lighter. You could probably use it but velocity will b

I cravens heard of 210gn 35 cal projectiles. Usually 180,200,220,225,250,275 and 310gn as well as the swift 280gn
760 is far to slow for everything bar the 310gn.
Varget, reloader 15, 4064, benchmark and a few others but the go to is cfe223.
If'n it ain't listed I tend not to use it because there's a reason it not listed.

The other way to look at this problem, is that a “too slow” powder like W760 usually cannot be loaded to excessive pressures because you can’t get enough in the case to create excessive pressure. So if your friend chooses to use it, loads will likely be safe, but slow velocity. And least the rifle can be used.

Thanks BOB...
My friendhere, in the ass of the world, as the most of the handloaders of Argentina,
He gets absolutely nothing and got a mold to make 210 gn cast bullets
The only thing he got as gunpowder is w760
That's the problem, there is NOTHING here
I ussually charge my cast bullets with a estratified duplex charge of a fast powder (2 gn) below and a slow powder (43 gn) above, to my 190 cast bullets GC in my 308
I might the w760 will work in the 35 with cast bulelts, but my friend don´t have any idea to start...
The powders I use, are maked here, in Argentina, the faster one is the "A2", similar to the Red Dot... the slower are the "A19", similar to the R22...
Why I use this rare kind of charge? Because, as I say before, here, there are NOTHING in matter of reloading...
The necessity is the mother of the invention!:Banghead:

Yes, you´re right!
I think he will load to the top the case, put the bullet, and the shot will be go ahead, obviously! hahaha... whitout any problems with pressure but i presume any forum collegues have any idea of speed, and performance...
So, we will see,.,

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
