We got a briefing from one of our vendors last Fall (2023) on the state of AI being used offensively. I knew this was coming, but I figured it would be another year or 3 before it got this sophisticated (and it's still sort of sledge hammer-ish, but it will be refined quickly).
I have always been an advocate for patching/updating operating systems and other software. I still am, but it will be far less effective moving forward.
