Closing in on England hunt finally (oct 9 hurry up!). If the cards align I will be taking a red stag, muntjac, and roe. I know it's not typical but my main focus will be on muntjac because they really intrigue me. This will be our honey moon and the wife is wanting to take a muntjac also. What I'm looking to do is have both muntjac shoulder mounted and displayed together as honeymoon reminder. Was thinking just have one looking left and one right but seems pretty basic so wanted to ask for pics/suggestions.

Thanks in advance
Dale

Sounds great!! Good luck! I'm sure someone will be along with some pics of muntjac

I am hoping someone has something neat figured out. If things work as planned would love to both shoot one same day so can take a quality pic for between the deer of us together with them.

I've got an idea for a mount that will remind you of your honeymoon, but as this is a family forum I won't mention it(n)

Guess I should of seen that coming... we will have plenty of high quality photos for that

Have fun on this one sir!

Ooooh. I could do some cool stuff on a double stack pedestal for you.

Any reference photos even of different animals to look at gizmo? Something I can show the misses

I live in England and am very fortunate to shoot at least 50 muntjac every year.
Inevitably I shoot some very nice trophies.
The only taxidermist I would ever use is Steve Newcombe from Outwoods Taxidermy. He is a world class taxidermist and an all round great guy to deal with.

Here are some photos of some of the muntjac Steve has done for me.

It's a dreamy hunt! I would like to do it one day!

Awesome 270. Thank you very much!

Enysse: it's cheaper then an Africa hunt which is why it's our first hunt out of the US. Africa will be in 2019

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
