WILD WILDEBEEST SAFARIS

I just returned from my third safari with Wild Wildebeest Safaris. I was very happy with the first two, and this trip was no different. I first met the principles, Tony Du Bruyn and Jorika Prinsloo, at the Dallas Safari Club Convention in 2015. I liked them from the start, and booked a plains game hunt for 2016. It was my first safari, and it could not have gone better. My PH, Jacques Kellermann, was the consummate professional, and a joy to hunt with. The numbers and quality of available game far exceeded expectation, and I took several nice animals. The accommodations were outstanding, great food, good equipment, and great people. I booked another safari before I left and once again had a great experience in 2017.

I unfortunately had to skip 2018 because of a medical issue, but booked my 2019 safari in Dallas. This time, two old army buddies, neither of whom had hunted Africa, accompanied me. We had a ball! As in years past, the hunting areas were large, with an amazing number of quality animals. I was hunting some specific species, and managed to collect very good animals. Although I am not obsessed with scores, several of the animals I have taken with Wild Wildebeest Safaris have scored in the SCI Gold Medal Category, and some have also qualified for Roland Ward.

I highly recommend Wild Wildebeest Safaris to anyone looking for a high quality hunt in Limpopo. Regardless of method or ability, they will make your safari the trip of a lifetime.

Enjoyed your pictures-good variety and quality! Still trying to decide wether I am more jealous of the red hartebeest or the caracal. Congratulations on another great trip with WW safaris!

Congratulations.

Wow, these are some great pictures!! 2019 Hunting Season is going great. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Some fine looking trophies especially that handsome caracal! Was he a chanced upon animal, or were you specifically hunting him? I took one in Limpopo, but I was specifically hunting him spotlighting at night. Awesome little cats!

Good first post and welcome to AH!

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris
