All,
@Altitude sickness and I have the pleasure of @Imac45acp , Brian, and Kristan of the Montana Rifle Comany allowing us to test fire a pre-production example of their TSAVO rifle in .375 H&H.

Please know this is my first ever video and I think it's fairly good. I am still learning this new stuff...
Camera used was a Nikon Z8 mirrorless with 28-400 F4-8 lense.

This link is unlisted (not public, for now..) but its okay share it among us gun guys!

Photos of this rifle are posted in this thread: https://www.africahunting.com/threads/montana-rifle-company-tsavo-in-375-h-h-shooting.91234/

Nice shooting in the gum boots
Really good posture for fast big rifle shooting
U can shoot my friend!!!

Good video. Thanks
Say @Mark A Ouellette, did the forearm seem short?
Steve
Hi Steve,

Perhaps you are refering to the last shooter in the video, @Altitude sickness. He held the forend with a more tactical shooting style of forearm almost straight for control.

I was the second shooter in the video with the highest rate of fire. Certainly what's left of my SuperMark suit (USMC utility blouse) enabled my high performance :)

I had no problem whatsoever shooting that rifle.
I compared a MRC stock to a pre-64 M70 and a modern M70 Classic long action magnum (375 or 458) stock. The MRC stock was about 1/2" shorter than the pre-64, and an inch shorter than the modern classic stock.

PS: With MRC concurrance, I made changed the permission of my video from Unlisted to Published (Public). I don't think I will ever get enough hits to be monitized for it, but it was fun to shoot and not too hard to make a video...

NICE VIDEO. THAT TSAVO HAS TO GO ON THE USED GUN RACK FOR SURE.

Great shooting guys! Pretty good rhythm you have going on there Mark. Thanks for posting.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Jeffery, Mark is correct I didn’t find the fore end short. I just tend to put my support hand more forward with my thumb pointing at the target.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
