Your user profile is showing not available. You are new and selling things at a time when there have have been several scams.

One thing people suggest is to write your user name and the date on a piece of paper and take a picture holding it and the gun or scope.

Or if you've sold something do you have reviews. Or does a more established member know you?

Anything you can do to assure members you have the items in your possession and will deliver them.

You can also use a 3rd party like an established ffl dealer we can call and send payment to who will act as a go between.

I would advise caution on this listing to any would-be buyers. As @ActionBob pointed out, there are some steps that the seller needs to take in order to demonstrate legitimacy.

In the meantime, there is a particular word that is commonly used to describe this particular model of rifle in this particular stock configuration; which virtually any legitimate seller would use to describe it, and is noticeably absent in this listing. That's a pretty big red flag to me.

Most likely a scammer. Just started noticing their posts and they’ve been a member since 2023, limits who can see their profile but I remember they made the usual type of posts. And it’s in that usual $500-$1000 range. Also, great wood? Nothing wrong with a plain Jane m70 but come on..

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
