    Insurance For The Shooting Enthusiast

Timely post as I’m questioning whether to re-up with another firm, Cole. I had two questions but one was answered reading the FAQS on your website. Was hoping your policies covered ammo/reloading supplies but see they do not. The other question- are firearms that are shipped via common carrier...

Funding a Safari with Facebook Marketplace

Where is this magical neighborhood where high dollar goods are tossed to the curb?? I live in the nexus of three trailer parks and a dirt-track speedway. There’s a greater chance of finding a bag of crack and a corpse during a jog around the block than a $600 stroller. Great idea, hope you get...

    Pay It Forward-Free

It took 3-4 weeks of the initial dosing of Phycox before I really noticed how well it worked for him. He was close to 9 when I started him on it and continued with the daily dose till he passed just shy of 13. The occasional Rimadyl for days when he ran really hard were all he needed for joint...

    Pay It Forward-Free

Have you found a supplement that he’ll eat and helps his arthritis, CZ? If you haven’t, I’d suggest trying Phycox MAX. I had my Lab on it his last 4 or so years and it greatly improved the quality of his life. Cosequin, Dasaquin, etc. didn’t come close to providing the results I saw with Phycox...

Pre-war WJ Jeffery 404 Magazine Rifle

Don’t know if that’s some kid, a drunk, mental issues or what but they/them is constantly digging up clearly marked as “sold” .404 ads and asking if they are still available. I seem to recall a clearly marked sold MRC 1999 .404 that they/them drug up 3 or 4 separate times to ask if it was still...

Another Legend goes to History! (one of the super nines)

Time will tell. FWIW, this is from the CZ North American 2025 catalog.

Another Legend goes to History! (one of the super nines)

Do you have a link stating production of all other variants has completely ceased or just that link showing only that one model is available in Europe? I ask because the CZ-USA site still shows the 75-B, Compact, etc. as available. https://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-b/

Utilitarian Reasons to Own Similar Rifles in the Same Caliber

Franz, you didn’t grow up hunting or around firearms as a part of every day life, did you?

    Good Gun Deals This Week

That’s fantastic, Bob. I only recently registered but have been reading AH for a number of years. One of the things I have taken away in that time is that you and Gina both seem to have hit the lottery. Enjoy the rest of your time in England.

Leupold LPS: Use it or buy new

Appreciate you posting this. I have a VariX 2-7x28 Compact of roughly the same age that I’ve been holding off sending back out of concerns similar to yours. To me, it’s the perfect lever-gun scope, both in performance and aesthetics. No desire to have it replaced with something larger and newer.

    How much Ammo is “Enough”?

No doubt. I was feeling pretty good about my stash prior to reading this thread…

    Yellowstone prequel 1923 double rifle

Sheridan had “cowboys” fly-fishing on horseback in the first season of “Yellowstone”. Reality, let alone period correct, doesn’t seem to play a big role in his soap operas.

    1903 springfield

Other than to correct a safety issue, I won’t mess with “family” guns. Refinishing, converting, etc., it just seems wrong to wipe out the physical history that is part of those firearms. I just view myself as the caretaker till it makes it’s way to the next generation.
