.416 Ruger ammo back in stock Grafs&Sons

There are cases available from multiple people on the auction sites. I rolled the dice and I ordered 300 cases from 1 guy and already got delivered. I got another 200 on the way from another guy. With what I got from Grafs before they sold out, and what I had before, that puts me close to 1000 rounds of new brass. That'll do.

Since I swage my own bullets for under 10 cents each, the first rounds in new brass will cost me under $40 per box of 20 for loaded ammo. Everything after that will run under $10 per box of 20 for loaded ammo. It won't take long to pay for the bullet swaging dies at that rate. I figure about 6 boxes of 20 is the break even point, then it is 50 cents per round for as many as I care to make. Who says you have to be rich to shoot the big bores. Swift-A-Frames are $2 for just the bullet, if you can find them in stock. Sure is nice to make what I want when I want, for pennies on the dollar compared to other options.

Not knowing anything about bullet swaging, I just watched a couple of videos on the subject. It seems VERY time consuming. I buy/bought large bore bullets on sale from various sources, especially bullet seconds or factory overruns. I barely have any time to reload let alone swage bullets. Just MY circumstances, but the swaging process is very interesting.

I know what you mean. Common cup and core bullets take half the time to make 100 bullets as it does to reload 100 rounds. If you are making premium bullets (partitions, bonded cores), that time could triple. It is a hobby for me. I enjoy it, and like reloading, I can make stuff I cannot buy anywhere else and can do quality control and component control impossible otherwise. It isn't all about the money, but I really don't mind saving 90 percent on my other hobbies, shooting and hunting. It is also a hedge against uncertainties in the future. I am not really a prepper or conspiracy theorist, but it doesn't hurt to do what you can, when you can.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
