Finally got my hands on our very own Hunter Habib's autobiography. The co-author is a friend of mine and he got HH to autograph it for me.

The book paints a very unique picture of East Pakistan/Bangladesh in the 1960s to the 1980s. It also offers a really rare perspective on what tiger hunting in modern times is like. Lots of graphic photos of victims of man eating tigers, though.

It's really cool that the Alaskan bear guide Phil Shoemaker, wrote the foreword for this book.

A book I will be using some days on now to emerge in .

I’m glad you liked it, Per. The true credit goes to young Shaiaz. The young fellow spent the last four years listening to all my ”adventures” and putting them down on paper. As a matter of fact, he practically had to FORCE me to write the book. He even helped me find many photographs from my old albums which I didn’t even remember that I still had.

How did the book reach you this fast ? Shaiaz brought the book to me to autograph on Sunday.

This is Fantastic! I hope someone will make copies available on AH

Gents, I know that this is really embarrassing but I know absolutely nothing about the book's sale or distribution. What I can do is this:

If you fellows inbox me, I can give you Shaiaz's email address and I'm certain that he will be more than happy to accomodate you in no time.

Edited: saw your comment, I will write you

Seems so strange to me in these times that we meet a true Victorian that is of Asian descent. This is total meant as a compliment
By this I mean like my grandfather a true gentlemen who kept very much to him self.
So lookig forward to reading this book....

I have emailed the person Hunter-Habib gave me. Just waiting for his reply
IF THEY ARE SHIPPING OVERSEAS, MAYBE WE CAN GET A BULK ORDER FOR AH MEMBERS?

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
