Pristine Chapuis Armes Elan 470 Nitro Express Double Rifle

Purchased with the intention of personally using/hunting with this rifle, however I've decided using old British Double is more important than using a modern double

Comes with Factory Hard Case, Cloth Slips, all paperwork, to include factory regulation target.
Rifle is regulated for Factory Federal Woodleigh Hydro Solids, and includes the flip-up/hide-away front sight.
Weight is 10.3lbs, with a factory LOP for 15.3" over a 1" factory install decelerator pad. 2.55" Drop at Heel & 1.57" Drop at Comb
AAA Grade 3 Circassian Walnut with cheek piece. Sling studs and swivels have not been installed
41 inch overall length, 24 inch barrels with ejectors. Rib is factory milled for a red dot
Receiver is coin finished with laser engraving

Item is Listed elsewhere for $17,199 however I'll make a deal with any active member of AH. I purchased rifle this last year before their new pricing went into effect and want someone on here with a dream of also hunting Africa to reap the rewards. I've sold multiple other double rifles to members of AH to include another Chapuis, a Merkel, and a Heym.

Excellent rifle and buy with confidence from an excellent seller.

Bump ... Make me an offer on this beautiful double rifle. The worst I can do is say no.

Beautiful rifle and a great forum member and knowledgable collector.

Agree wonderful secure seller. This rifle before price increase probably sold for $14,500. After taxes and shipping probably just north of $15,000. I have owned this exact gun only in 450-400 NE and it was superb craftsmanship!!! He is asking you to bring offers!!! DRs are scarce right now!!!!

You have the wrong person. I have no idea what you are talking about..

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
