I took this eleven year old Persian desert ibex in Iran last month. The shot was taken from 137 yards using a custom XP-100 handgun in 6.5 WSM.

Baboon

Even more fun than shooting Coyotes, these varmint Baboons were a real hoot! Zimbabwe, 2005. This is the type of sporting fun & conservation I'd like to see passed on to upcoming generations.

I like seattelsetters first post, amazing dogs on the hunt, Scott.

Hunt with a camera?

Guess you folk wouldn't object to me and the only lady in my arriving armed only with a camera, good appetites and a friendly disposition. Good yarns thrown in for free?::)

High alpine mountain goat

This goat hunt was quite memorable as it was my first solo goat hunt in northern BC, Canada. Hunting goats and most mountain game is a passion of mine not only for the trophy but even more for the thrill of the adventure.

B and C mountain caribou

Took this fantastic bull in the beginning of the rut sept. 07. It was a nice compliment to a successful goat hunt. It made for a heavy pack though.

BC Stone Ram

I accompanied Amy Martin on this stone sheep hunt in northern BC. In my opinion, packing a set of stone ram horns off the mountain on your back is the pinacle of mountain hunting in North America. It is a feeling that can't be described.

Big old interior griz

This interior grizzly was taken in central northern British Columbia. This big old boy was laid to rest in good time. He lived a full life and this was evident from his battle scars, missing ears and worn out teeth. He was a true trophy and a big achievment for my hunting career. I was thrilled and this is clear from the expression on my face.

This second griz was actually taken on the same day as the previous about 4 hours later. Upon our arrival back to our spike camp we noticed this bear approx. 70 yards from our tents. We made a quick stalk into about 50 yards from him and put him down. This made for some excellent video and an unparallel day of bear hunting in the mountains.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
