Some I’m sure have heard of this real world Forest Gump. This video will save you time. But the book “Happy Odyssey” is better. The video is the typical cheaply done documentary. With file photos repeatedly used. It’s still an amazing story worth the :20

I heard about him several years ago. Sabaton released a song about Adrian Carton de Wiart nammed "The unkillable soldier".

I'm still suprised they haven't made a movie about this incredible man.

Hacksaw Ridge

Also has an incredible hero......true story......

This generation of kids we have now wouldn't know the meaning of tough.
To them going without their phone for 5 minutes is torture let alone even joining the military.
I can see them now
Hang on sargent I will see ( insert influencer) has to say about that. I'm petty sure that's a breach of my rights.
I can't March today it's raining and I might get wet.
That looks a bit sketchy so I think I'll pass in that corpral.
You get the picture.
They just don't make them like they did back then.
Kids in our time had spunk, spark and get up and go along with respect and loyalty.
Kids today even think Manual Labour is a Mexican peasant, not hard work.
Where did we go wrong with kids nowadays.
That's right the government and do gooders stopped us from being parents. If Johnny or Mary fallout of a tree and break an arm your a BAD PARENT, If they don't get a prize for failing that's social injustice.
Bad news shit head, kids will hurt themselves, in the real world there are winners and losers.
Let kids take risks, the world isn't a bed of roses so be prepared to fail and get back up and try again instead of crying about it.
Yes there are some good kids and young adults out there because they had real parents but in today's namby pamby cotton wool society they are getting harder to find.
This old fart has complained enough.
At least here we have kids that still hunt and actually eat what they shoot, respect people and are becoming well rounded members of society because they have parents that care about them not what the world thinks of them.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
